Travel and Lodging

The wedding festivities will begin with the ceremony at 3pm on Friday, April 23rd (please arrive at 2:30pm). We recommend arriving in Raleigh Thursday evening or Friday morning and staying through Sunday, with events planned throughout the weekend, ending Saturday night.

There are great hotel & Airbnb options throughout Raleigh. The events will center around the downtown area, so we recommend staying within the beltline for quick transportation between venues. Central downtown has plenty of hotel options, but here are some neighborhoods we love that will give you a true taste of Raleigh. All of these neighborhoods are within 10 minutes of all of the event locations throughout the weekend.

  • Historic Oakwood
  • Boylan Heights
  • Five Points
  • Mordecai
  • University Park / Village District

We’ve put our wedding event locations and recommended neighborhoods together in one Google Maps list to help you plan your stay.

Garden Party Disco (Formal Attire)

Think bright spring colors, florals, flowing fabrics, whimsical details, playful formalwear, even a little sparkle. Festive, flowery, colorful, and fun is the idea. (No white, please).

We’ll begin the celebration in the garden, so grass-friendly shoes are encouraged. And with live music, dancing, and karaoke to follow, wear something you’ll feel good celebrating in all night long!
